Welcome,
I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Raven, I am a single parent from Yellow Quill First Nations Sk, Treaty 4 territory. I currently reside on unceded Coast Salish territory. I am Anishinaabe, Cree, and eastern European. I am from the Kingfisher clan. I am 8 years sober, and a sundancer. My mother is a residential school survivor, and my father is a survivor of the 60’s Scoop. I also have a day job where I make fresh smoothies with real ingredients, and sell health supplements, protein powders, and vitamins.
I created this page because I wanted to better support our Indigenous people and communities. There have been many times where I needed specific items made that were significant to me but couldn’t find an indigenous artist. I know there has to be others that have experienced the same. At the same time I have been doing the work on healing myself and my family. I came across a lot of resources and information that have made my life better and I want to share them with others. If it has helped me, it could help some one else.
I truly believe that We are Turtle Island is my purpose and that I need to do this. Not just for me, but for my ancestors, my family, and for the next seven generations. I look forward to seeing this grow and serve others.
